One word: Battlegrounds! Yep, as of Patch 3.2, you can now gain experience in PvP battlegrounds like Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin, and Alterac Valley. So now, in addition to power-leveling through questing, you can also earn XP by completing battleground objectives. Here are some tips for gaining experience:

Warsong Gulch

Capture the enemy’s flag

Kill an enemy flag carrier

Killing any enemy player

For every flag your team captures, you get experience, regardless of whether you win or lose.

Arathi Basin

Capturing a base

Killing any enemy player

Completing battleground quests

Number of resources at the end of the game, regardless of win/loss

Alterac Valley

Number of your faction’s resources left at the end of the battle

Killing any enemy player

Completing battleground quests

Killing the enemy Captain

Burn towers and bunkers

Freeing your team’s Wing Commanders

Capturing mines

Collecting supplies to turn in for quests

So, if you like battling other players, include battlegrounds in your bag of leveling tricks!

I’ve tried a lot of the World of Warcraft guides out there and I’m here to tell you they are not all created equal. You have to know what you’re looking for and do a little research before you can find the best power-leveling guide. In this post I’m going to compare the Zygor Guide with the Warcraft Pros guides so you can understand the differences between them and decide for yourself which one is best for you. (Of course I have my opinion, but I’ll leave that for last!)

In my opinion, these WoW guides are geared for entirely different types of people. Zygor is definitely better for people who wish to power-level, while Warcraft Pros is more for people who wish to experiment with different kinds of classes.

Focused on class play style and strategies instead of leveling

In-Game Mod

Yes

Updates

Free lifetime updates

N/A

Bottom Line: My opinion is that Warcraft Pros is more of a guide for people who like PvP or want to try a new class that they’ve never played before. On the other hand, the Zygor guide can help people of any class power-level faster and does it easier because the in-game add-on points the way for you, rather than flipping the pages of a book next to your monitor.

As unbelievable as it sounds, a Warrior managed to get from level 1 to level 80 without dying once.

As unbelievable as it sounds, a Warrior managed to get from level 1 to level 80 without dying once. That’s an incredible feat! Apparently this wasn’t her first character, so she was able to use her main to buy some nifty items that helped get her out of some scrapes. Some bloggers have even taken up the challenge to try it themselves.

However, there was a catch. She didn’t actually avoid death while leveling. Instead, when she died, she had to delete her character and then reactivate it to reset the tracking on number of deaths (which you can view on your Statistics tab in-game).

Technically, she didn’t cheat according to the Terms of Service. But it sure sounds like a pain in the neck to get what turns out to be a dubious accomplishment. I mean, if you have to find loopholes, you didn’t really accomplish anything, did you? I’d much rather level legitimately and have fun while doing it.

Getting to level 80 is a grind; no one’s going to argue with that. It took me almost two years to level my first World of Warcraft character to 80 just so I could see the Wrath of the Lich King content. It took so long that I thought I might never level another character again! Fortunately, along the way, I picked up some really simple ways to level faster. And this time I was able to get to level 76 in a matter of days, not weeks, of in-game time.

Tip 1: Visit all three starting zones for your faction

If you’re Alliance, do all the quests in Dun Morogh, Azuremyst Isle, Teldrassil, and Elwynn Forest. If you’re Horde, make sure you pick up all the quests in Mulgore, Tirisfal Glades, Eversong Woods, and Durotar. You’ll get to level 5 quickly by doing the quests in your race’s start-up area. But before heading out to higher level areas, make the trek to the other two lowbie zones and do all their quests too. You get almost as much XP and the quests go much faster and easier because you’re stronger than the mobs.

Tip 2: Don’t do group quests

Just because a quest is there doesn’t mean you have to do it. Especially group quests. It takes time to round up people or wait for a group to form so you can go tackle Hogger. You can get a lot of other quests done in the time that you’d otherwise be waiting on other people which easily equals the same XP . Of course, if a group falls in your lap, don’t hesitate to jump in.

Tip 3: Kill mobs (and do quests) that are 2-3 levels below you

The XP difference between killing green-level mobs vs. yellow- or orange-level mobs is negligible. On top of that, you can kill many more green-level mobs during the same time period and with much more ease. There’s also less chance that accidentally pulling too many mobs will kill you when they are lower in level.

I found these things out — and a lot more cool stuff — when I tried this guide. I even wrote a special page that tells you how I did it, if you want to know more.

Blizzard recently announced that they are going to refine the artwork for cat and bear Druid forms for both Tauren and Night Elves.

Blizzard recently announced that they are going to refine the artwork for cat and bear Druid forms for both Tauren and Night Elves. Big Bear Butt has posted some pictures with his comments on the proposed artwork. I have always thought that the Night Elves got the better deal on the current artwork but the new skins make the Tauren look really cool now.

It’s conceivable that people who like to play Druids may now want to roll one on the opposite faction if they like the new forms well enough. However, switching from Alliance to Horde or vice versa is tricky stuff if you’ve primarily played only one side. The starting areas are completely different. The higher-level areas may have similar quest types but completely different quest givers and, what’s more, unfamiliar flight paths.

I found it extremely confusing once I got to Stranglethorn Vale as Alliance after leveling my main on Horde. I kept heading to the wrong camps and getting killed! Finally, I wised up with a new approach and things went more smoothly.

The game of World of Warcraft is ever expanding with the release of patches, and content for the game. The latest expansion the Wrath of the Lich King allows players to level from 70 to 80 now which for many players has added some needed freshness to the game. Though there are a number of guides out there to help you level up to 80 faster, However I feel that leveling can also be done without a guide so I wanted to focus on a few World of Warcraft leveling tips that can help you do just that.

1. Get a bigger bag.
Nothing is more frustrating then when you are about to leave for a quest or when you find yourself far away from town discovering that your bag is full. So as soon as you get a chance make sure you get a bigger bag this really helps cut down on the amount of trips back to town just to empty out your bags.

2. Consider add-ons that will save you time.
Some of the best add-ons available include the carbonite quest, auctioneer and my favorite auto profit. Auto profit is very useful as it sells the items which you would have classified as gray junk to the vendor and it does all this in just one click. This is extremely useful, as it saves a ton of time, which can then be spent leveling. The carbonite quest works more or less like a quest helper with better mini maps and a really good quest tracker.

3. Get your mount as fast as you can.
It is important to remember that traveling on a mount increases your travel speed thus cutting down on wasted travel time. So even for those players in the higher level zones’, upgrading your mount is just as effective for over over level 60 players as getting your first mount was at level 40

Of course there is a lot more World of Warcraft leveling tips but there just isn’t the time and space to cover all those in just one article. I suggest to learn more visit our site we cover a lot more WoW leveling tips as well review many of the leveling aids out there, so that you can reach level 80 faster then all your friends.
